This shows the
detail of the concrete stop block at the end of the cattle dock siding.
The front of the block has four bolts sticking out. These were
probably used to attach wooden planks which formed the actual buffer stop.
The top of the block still has three out of four brackets. I assume
they supported drop down flaps that would allow vehicles to be driven onto
flat wagons positioned hard up against the stop block.
