GWR Autotrain
This shows 1417 with W212W forming the daily GWR Autotrain working. This worked through Thurstaston at 6:50am as e.c.s. to West Kirby, then back to Birkenhead Woodside at 7:23am. The coupling is a modified Bill Bedford coupling, giving a fixed, but sprung connection for running in both directions including dummy vacumn pipe and auto control rod. |
