BR Type 2 (later class 24) loco number D5028 This is a Hornby body converted to the class 24 with the Craftsman conversion kit. This was finished before the Bachmann model was released. The power bogie has been replaced with a High Level Lo-Rider bogie with the 48:1 ratio. Locos of this type worked the occasional freight just before the line's closure. The model will work a train of vans heading to the Cadbury's factory at Moreton. |
