Hudswell Clarke Shunter number 11146
This is a Impetus kit with added detail, and was the first etched brass rolling stock I completed. There is a Portescap 1219 driving the front axle, with Sharman wheels. 10 of these locos were built, in two batches, all of which were based at Birkenhead for working the docks. I need to find an excuse to run one through Thurstaston, maybe the demolition train, replacing the 8F's that were actually used. |
